Had a relaxing paddle at the Lower Wekiva River, putting in at Katie's Landings. The plan was to kayak at another location but two things happened. Over slept and then the dreaded check engine light turned on. Given that last fact decided to stay close to home.

Not too much to say. Did paddle from Katie's to the high ground used as a camping site. There a couple arrived and asked me if I was camping. I told them no, that was only stretching my legs. They told me they were going to camp there last night. Warned them it was illegal and the man, with a hint of "am not believing you" on his voice asked me what made me think that was the case. I explained to them I have seen signs in the past and left it there. Let us go to the pics, first from the downstream leg...
