Orlando Wetlands Park

Vermilion Flycatcher
This is not a kayaking post so will only share a few pics because it was a heck of a walk at the Orlando Wetlands Park. This place is amazing. A few firsts for me on this walk. For the first time saw a Northern Harrier, an American Kestrel, and a White-Eyed Vireo. The only problem is that I went alone and the pics are not what I wanted them to be. Anyways, enough of talking. Let us see the pics...

Wood Stork

Mottled Duck

Blue-Winged Teal

Baby Gators

Great Blue Heron

Song Sparrow?...I am not sure about this one.

Vermilion Flycatcher

Great Egret

White-Eyed Vireo...One of the many times I wished my wife was shooting the pics.

Ibis

Glossy Ibis

Gator cooling itself. They use the open mouth technique to cool down.

Green Heron...Is not that funny the way it is looking down with the head up?

Sandhill Crane

Northern Harrier...Sorry I did not do a better job with this one.

Snowy Egret

Limpkin

American Kestrel...and yet another Where is my wife? moment.

Vermilion Flycatcher. Saw it again on my way out.

That is it for this one. Thanks for reading and will probably see you tomorrow on a Views From Our Kayak, this time from the water.
