Orlando Wetlands Park (NKP)

Black Skimmer (Juvenile)

Have not been able to go kayaking for two weeks in a row and this one is the third. But had a couple of hours to spare and asked my wife to go for a short walk at the Orlando Wetlands Park. She accepted as it did not look like it would be too hot. Bottom line, here are the pics we took in a close to two hours walk at the Orlando Wetlands Park...

A juvenile Black Skimmer flew by several times. Ended up with too many pics of it. Let me share a few...

Saw something today that had never seen before. 6 Bald Eagles were circling high in the sky. It was quite a show. They were making the sound they make and I waited for a pair to lock their talons, a courtship ritual, which never happened. With my apologies, as those are not really great pics, here are a couple I was able to shoot.

And this is it for this one. I will post a few more pics on the Facebook Page whenever I have time. Thanks for coming and looking forward for our next post to be from the water so we can share the Views From Our Kayak.
