Crested Caracara - Mexican Eagle |
The way the forecast was for today ruined my kayaking plans. Plan A was the Ichetuknee River, Plan B was Weekie Wachee River. Forecast was awful for both locations. Too long of a drive to paddle under the rain or not to paddle at all. Maybe Wekiva River, this time with my wife so we can have nice pics. She did not want to go so it looked like kayaking was a bust for Saturday. OK then. Came out of bed at 6AM and took a look at the sky;gray and cloudy. No sense on going out under those conditions. But no one said a thing about taking a walk at Orlando Wetlands Park, 20 minutes from home. That is exactly what I did. Had a good hike under a covered sky, and humid, very humid day. Since this is not a kayaking post that is it. We will go straight to the pics.

Love the least Bittern--I haven't seen one of those in years!
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff, as always.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are Beautiful! I wish I could get one of the bald eagle. We see them every now and then on the Suwannee River but my camera will not take close enough shots.
