Viera Wetlands (non kayaking post)

Tri-Colored Heron

This morning the plan was to kayak Rock Springs Run but a fog blanket was covering most of Central Florida and it was not expected to clear until late morning. Foggy days are not good for pics so my wife said she was not going. Instead we made a deal and went to Viera Wetlands and had a good walk there. As I usually do when it is not a kayaking trip will just post the pics and keep the comments to the minimum. That being said...Here we go!!!!!

And that is it. The pics are in sequential order so excuse me for not grouping them. Used to call this intelligent laziness but today am just short on time. Thanks for reading and let me see if I can post a kayaking post tomorrow so we can share  the Views From Our Kayak.

  2. Gorgeous pictures; of course the black racer (snake) is one I love. I've not been to Vierra Wetlands but it is a favorite for people who post on BRDBRAIN.
Otters are getting active on Wekiva and RSR. I got a picture yesterday, but not in focus so I didn't post it.
