Spring Garden Creek (Out of De Leon Springs)

Had a very short paddle today at Spring Garden Creek. It was a scorching day at the water and also a slow wildlife viewing paddle. Seems like the creatures were smarter than me and took the day off. Do not blame them. It was more a family day for me. Met my sister at De Leon Springs and took my brother in law for this short trip. It was only a three hour paddle back and forth. There was no sense on stay under the Sun for a long period of time.

Not too much to say about this paddle. I believe everything was said in the first paragraph. Spring Garden Creek, which is formed from the outflow of De Leon Springs, is high. Was able to paddle close to the North/East bank of Spring Garden Lake (between De Leon Springs and Spring Garden Creek). Motor boats were not an issue as most of the ones I saw reduced speed approached. The wildlife was scarce, which is not normal for Spring Garden Creek, maybe because the heat. That being said will share the pics of what I saw today...
